Smasteroids is an unabashed clone of the classic Intellivision game Astrosmash. As a clone, it recreates the original game very well, with accurate graphics and gameplay. (I should know since I played the original game on the console quite a bit back in the 80's!) It also adds other modes which have additional features, including the deluxe mode (which adds more defined levels and bosses) and survival (which is much like the original except with different starting parameters and reward structure). Generally a very competent game offering either keyboard or joystick controls, and worth trying for both those who haven't played the original and for those who fondly remember it.
