Description

Outfox is a computerized version of the old "Fox and Hounds" board game, which was often played using a normal checkers/chess board. This version automates movement of the fox (the computer moves it, so it's one player only), greatly expands the board, and adds various obstacles to complicate matters. The goal is to use your twenty hounds to surround the fox on all eight sides before the fox reaches the bottom of the screen. This is difficult, especially since the fox can sometimes "kick" rocks (?) changing the layout of the map or even taking out one of the hounds. As with most of the author's games, it uses text mode.
